WSW Member Henry McCarthy hosts a radio show, Poets and Writers, out of Emory, VA – the station is NPR affiliate WEHC, on 90.7. The show is on three times a week.

 

 

He educates his audience on the philosophy of poets and writers; we write poems in our hearts every day, but are often afraid to share them. Interviews, poems and songs from this region are presented.

 

Henry is a former Dean at Appalachian State University. Now, in addition to his radio interviewing gig, he is also a guest actor at the UNCSA film school. His latest book of poems is Never Read A How To Book.
