WRITERS NIGHT OUT
During a WSW Open Mic Nights, members and future members read brief excerpts from their prose and poetry. Others attend just to socialize. The purpose is to give writers and poets greater experience in presenting to a live, friendly, and receptive audience. Unlike the process at a “slam,” there’s no judging.
Since its inception in late 2005, Open Mic Nights has consistently been one of WSW’s most popular events.
