Ten Minute Play Workshop

Award winning script writer, filmmaker, creative writing and spoken word educator Nathan Ross Freeman will conduct A Ten Minute Play Workshop: Structure, Approach and Adaptation on Saturday, November 7 from 10-12:30 at Authoring Action, 624 West Sixth St., Winston-Salem, NC where Freeman serves as artistic director. The workshop, sponsored by Winston-Salem Writers, will be the kick-off for the Ten Minute Play Competition which opens November 15. The contest closes in January and the winning plays will be performed in a staged reading in April. The workshop is free and open to the public. His workshops serve to inspire writers of all genres to approach their writing in new ways. An intensive weekend workshop on developing and expressing the writer’s voice is scheduled for mid-January, 2016
