Since its beginning in 2005, Winston-Salem Writers continues to grow each year. We hope that you will join us.
WSW: Who and Why: We are a volunteer-run, nonprofit group incorporated under the laws of To learn more about who we are, our officers, and our goals, visit About Us and follow the links there. What's In It for You? A lot. Even though writing is usually considered a solitary art, writers and poets learn from each other. One-on-one and in WSW-sponsored critique groups, we share our work in order to make it better and encourage our peers. As members, we receive discounts on fees for WSW-sponsored workshops. We help plan and lead programs to serve not only other members but the communities in which we live. And we often gather informally, just to chat and exchange ideas. Check back often to see information on upcoming events.
Member News: We believe strongly in communicating with members, friends, and the general public. We try to "stay connected"---and we encourage members and others to share their ideas and opinions. Have an idea? Please contact member(s) of the WSW Board of Directors, or add your name to our mailing list by sending a message to info@wswriters.org
