Critique Groups

We have six Critique Groups right now, but we’re always looking to start up more.  For example, if you’re interested in writing for children, let us know.  If you’re a member, and you want to join an existing group, or help start up a new group, send us an e-mail.

THE THORN AND ROSES GROUP

• Special Interest – Fiction
• Schedule- Alternate Mondays at 7pm
• Accepting New Members – No

THE POETRY GROUP

• Special Interest – Poetry.
• Schedule-Second and Last Tuesday at 7pm
• Accepting New Members – Yes
• Waiting List – No
• Number Attending Typical Meeting- Three

WRITE AWAY GROUP

• Special Interest – All Forms of Writing
• Schedule – First Monday at 9am
• Accepting New Members – Yes
• Waiting List – No
• Number Attending Typical Meeting – Six

COLLINS GROUP

• Special Interest – All forms of writing
• Schedule – Biweekly, usually Monday
• Accepting New Members – No
• Waiting List – No
• Number Attending Typical Meeting – Four

MAJOR MANUSCRIPT GROUP

• Special Interest – Any large manuscript, fiction or non-fiction
• Schedule – Generally once a month
• Accepting New Members – Yes
• Waiting List – No
• Number Attending Typical Meeting – Two to Four
• The Leader is prepared to critique complete manuscripts for any member of WSW.

THE PROSE GROUP

• Special Interest – Fiction, Novels and Memoir
• Schedule – First and Third Thursdays at 7pm
• Accepting New Members – No
• Waiting List – No
